Why I can't download music from Spotify?

Spotify is an online music streaming service providing DRM-protected content. You can just stream the music from Spotify. Sorry, but SoundTaxi is unable to capture and save streaming music from Spotify. SoundTaxi is the best and the fastest software to legally convert DRM protected and non-protected audio and video files to commonly used non-protected formats. So the main requirement is that you must be able to play your original files in Windows Media Player, iTunes, QuickTime Player or Real Player on your PC (depending on the file format you’re converting). As input files SoundTaxi supports practically any audio and video formats which can be played in Windows Media Player, iTunes, QuickTime Player and Real Player.

  • In order to download files from Spotify we could offer you another our product RipTiger. You can download the latest RipTiger version from Official Website

RipTiger is a product which focuses on downloading files from any web-site. What separates it from screen capturing products, is that it actually downloads the video instead of recording it from the screen. This way, the downloads get completed quickly, without quality loss and without the need to keep them open in the browser. RipTiger captures Flash Video (HTTP and RTMP), Windows Media (HTTP, MMS and RTSP), Real Audio and Real Video (HTTP and RTSP), MPEG, QuickTime and some Streaming MP3 (Shoutcast). RipTiger downloads videos from practically any major web-site, with only a few minor exceptions.
