Why do I receive "The file is not compatible with iPod. Please convert the file before copying" error?
Please open SoundTaxi settings and find Encoder for Audio files / Encoder for video files. Check your output file format currently selected . Most probably, there were selected the output file format, which is not compatible with iPod/iPhone/iPad.

iPod/iPhone/iPad audio formats supported: MP3 (MPEG layer-3), M4A (MPEG4 AAC). iPod/iPhone/iPad video formats supported: iPod MPEG4 Video (MP4)
