Please note, you need SoundTaxi Pro+VideoRip/Media Suite edition to convert video files.

What output formats does SoundTaxi support?

For audio conversion SoundTaxi output formats are MP3, M4A (MPEG4 AAC), WMA and WAV, for video conversion – MP4 (MPEG4), WMV and AVI (DivX). What is the difference between trial version and full?

The trial (unregistered) version of SoundTaxi includes all features of (is equal to) SoundTaxi Pro+VideoRip version, but has limitations for output file duration. Audio conversion is limited to 90 sec and video conversion is limited to 3 min.

Does SoundTaxi preserve ID3 tags?

Yes, it does. If your original audio files contain information about artist name, album name, song name, genre, year – this information will be recorded in the converted files.

Is it legal to use SoundTaxi?

SoundTaxi is fully legal as it merely re-records the audio/video signal. By re-recording DRM protected media SoundTaxi does not modify the original DRM media. As a software user your legal rights are protected.

How to uninstall SoundTaxi?

To uninstall your SoundTaxi version, click on unins000.exe (in your SoundTaxi working folder) then reboot.

Please find SoundTaxi in 'Add/Remove programs' ('Programs and Features' in Vista/W7) and try to uninstall it from there, even if it was manually deleted from C:\Program Files
