Why does SoundTaxi require the MediaProcessingSDK plug-in?

SoundTaxi requires MediaProcessingSDK plug-in because we have moved to a new platform which provides an increase in speed, stability, and improves the whole conversion process in general. If you are going to convert DRM-protected files this plug-in is needed to be installed to ensure stability and high speed conversion.
Is it safe to install?
The MediaProcessingSDK plug-in is absolutely safe and can be installed with no concern by any computer user. We have been testing it thoroughly to ensure safety of the plug-in and it was found absolutely clean (no spyware, no adware, and no viruses).
